Black health wellness duo sisters influencer interview and I support the Black community in many ways. I’m especially active in promoting Black voices and creators on social media platforms by not only following their accounts but also making their pages accessible to my wider audience. I’ve supported many of these influencers and health experts in the past, but in case you missed it, I thought this would be a great opportunity to highlight them! You’ll also find some new faces here.
I strongly believe in the vitality of diversity and equal representation in nutrition, health, and wellness. That’s why I’ve compiled a list of six Black health and wellness influencers for you to follow and support. Whether you’re looking for new recipes, general health tips, or information on exercise, you’ll find an influencer with useful information on this list. 1 – Creator of the Model Health Show Podcast and bestselling author of #SleepSmarter, Shawn Stevenson
Shawn Stevenson is a nutritionist and health expert who hosts “The Model Health Show” – one of my absolute favorite health and fitness podcasts. I’ve long admired Shawn. Geek alert: I even printed out his podcast logo and hung it on my desk to remind myself to be as authentic and supportive as he is. I love that he breaks down complex health issues and makes them easy to understand, and offers helpful information on a variety of topics. Follow Shawn on Instagram for more.
2 – Nutritionist Catherine, who shares delicious, easy vegan recipes and health tips daily
Catherine is a nutritionist who shares delicious, easy plant-based recipes and health tips daily on her website. Her recipes make eating wholesome fun and delicious! Catherine’s flavorful recipes are filled with a variety of simple ingredients and other nutritious, natural products that make healthy eating exciting. 3 – Graphic Designer and Content Creator Spreading Powerful and Positive Messages: Oh Happy Dani
Danielle Cooke, also known as Dani, shares tons of beautiful, colorful graphics and is an amazing voice for positive change in the world! Even though I haven’t met her in person, I love following her account and learning from her beautiful and informative posts. I can’t believe I just discovered Valerie’s account, but I love all the tips she shares! Her easy-to-understand images make it perfect for anyone looking for concise yet entertaining tips on wellness, health, and nutrition. She brings science to the world of nutrition while making it easy to understand.
